It takes a lot of self belief to play for a crowd like that. You're not getting your energy back. But also their songwriting was not groovy then, and that made it harder to gel with.

Considering im a Southern California native metal fanatic im must say they have come full circle in retrospect with the music and style they play. It’s unique and definitely NOT death metal at all. It’s got doom / black metal elements that are secondary to nothing. These San Diego natives legit created an entire new genre of metal hands down. It’s absolutely amazing and incredible! The last three records especially with this current lineup just shows they are getting bigger and better. What other band has done this and been doing it this long? Nobody! 🤘🤘🤘
